Únase al Museo de Arte Lowe el miércoles, 9 de octubre , en el Museo de Arte Lowe para la conferencia de artistas de vidrio Myrna y Sheldon Palley , con el artista Tim Tate . En su charla, Del Capitán Nemo a los jeroglíficos contemporáneos: el uso del vidrio en defensa de los derechos humanos , Tate analizará cómo sus esculturas de técnica mixta combinan técnicas tradicionales de fabricación de vidrio con tecnología de nuevos medios para abordar cuestiones de derechos humanos. Inspirándose en Julio Verne y su propio desarrollo de jeroglíficos contemporáneos, Tate utiliza formas reconocibles para transmitir poderosos mensajes activistas.
