La Nobilissima de Nápoles: Arte y música en la Italia del siglo XVIII

Entra en el Nápoles del siglo XVIII el martes, 22 de octubre , en el Museo de Arte Lowe para Napoli Nobilissima: Arte y música en la Italia del siglo XVIII . Presentada como parte de la serie Lowe Ignite, esta velada da vida a la riqueza artística y cultural de Nápoles bajo el dominio borbónico español. La Dra. Jill Deupi, directora de Bellas Artes y curadora en jefe del Lowe's, ofrecerá información sobre este período a través de El martirio de Santa Catalina de Giacinto Diano, parte de la colección Samuel H. Kress del museo. Después de la conferencia, IlluminArts presentará un programa de música de época con la soprano Clara Rottsolk, el clavecinista Noah Sonderling y el trompetista Lucas Balslov, interpretando obras de compositores como Barbara Strozzi y Alessandro Scarlatti. Una recepción pública con vino y aperitivos cerrará la velada.
